It’s perfect, and I want it. I want it so bad. I don’t have the cash, and I don’t know if it will fit in my garage, but I want it.

I must say the MKV is usually my least favorite but I love that black pin stripe on this one

No they didn’t! Cadillac had the 500, Fleetwood Talisman, Eldorado was in its prime, and the ‘72 Coupe deVille came out. Plus while Lincoln was busy hiding it’s lights, Cadillac came out with the rectangular ‘75-’76 headlights which was a totally crazy/awesome design for the time. (First car in the U.S. to have ‘em.)

That's not my concern, my concern is how much headroom that thing will impact.

Hidden lights were still the cool thing to do! Plus Cadillac started down sizing way to early leaving Lincoln to create one of the longest and most spacious American cars since WWII

Question I asked myself a long time ago.

The only reason hidden lights were so popular is because everyone pretty much agreed that the circle sealed beam lights were ugly, so designers used em as a way to hide them when they weren't in use (that's true, btw)

I agree but I wouldn't call the square headlights much of an improvement.
